The Local Directory has been designed to help parents and caregivers locate appropriate services for their children birth to three years old and their families. A kind of 'mini phone book', this directory is useful when families are worried about the healthy development of their child or want support in meeting the special needs of their child. This directory is specifically designed for Sacramento, Placer, Yolo, El Dorado, Nevada and Alpine Counties..

This publication will provide parents the tools they need to feel that they are contributing to their childs IEP and that their children are receiving the special education services they need to succeed in school and life.

This workbood is intended to help you prepare for the transition from Early Start (early intervention). You and the people working with you and your child can go through it together, and as a team, you can think about what you want, get all the information you need, and make the best decisions for your family.

This guide has been prepared for professionals who are involoved with children from birth to age 21 who have special health care and/or developmental needs. It is intended to provide information about the various services ans supports available for children and families, and to provide general information about regulations, eligibility requirements, and application procedures.

This notebook was designed to give a framework for pulling together services and resources in a meaningful way.  It can serve as a combination address book, baby book, monthly planner and medical file all in one place.

This workbook will prepare you and your teen for the transition from high school into the adult world.
