How Can I Find Out About Recreational Activities For My Family To Enjoy?

You and your child will enjoy being part of your community. Many specialized recreation activities are available as well as opportunities to participate in regular recreational programs. In addition, some Parks and Recreation Departments offer special therapeutic recreation opportunities as well as standard programs. Contact the Parks and Recreation Department listed under your county or city in the phone book.  Most programs do not have residency requirements - counties are listed here for your convenience.

Special events, such as the Toy Extravaganza, Special Kids Picnic and the Buddy Walk, occur throughout the year. Contact the WarmLine Family Resource Center at for information regarding these and other events in your area or further explanation of the resources listed below.

Inclusion of a program or resource does not imply endorsement or recommendation by the WarmLine.
