What is the "Prevention Program" or "Prevention Resource and Referral Services" (PRRS) Program?
Effective July 1, 2011, newly referred families whose infants and toddlers are "at risk" for developmental delay or disability will recieve the following services through Family Resource Centers (FRCs).
* Information,
* Resources,
* Referrals,
* Targeted outreach.
FRCs will partner with parents and families to ensure parents remain an integral part of Prevention Resource and Referral Services for each child. It is always a good idea to discuss questions or concerns with the child's medical provider.
Who is eligible?

The developmental domains the regional center must consider are communication, cognitive, social/emotional, self-help/adaptive and physical; or
* Infants and toddlers (birth to three years ol) who have a parent who has a developmental disability.
