Where Can I Find Additional Information On A Specific Disability?

Sometimes it is hard to find enough information about a specific diagnosis or special challenge. The following is a list of some of the many groups, information lines, and associations providing information for families and professionals. We have provided a link to the website whenever possible. For organizations that do not have websites, we have provided phone numbers. Some of these organizations offer assistance, newsletters, parent-to-parent support, information and resources. An asterisk (*) after an organization's name indicates that there is a related group or chapter in at least one of the counties served by WarmLine. See "How can I get in touch with other parents?" for some local support groups and organizations. You can get a more complete list by calling the WarmLine or check out the most recent edition of the WarmLine Networker Newsletter.

“Sp” means that the website is also available in Spanish.
